Mari Realty specializes in a four county area of the East Texas Timberlands Region. These counties include Walker, Montgomery, Trinity, and San Jacinto Counties. This area includes Lake Conroe, Lake Livingston, and the county seats of Huntsville, and Conroe and surrounding cities in the counties.  Real estate opportunities include master planned communities, lake front and golf course communities, land, and residential city.


WALKER COUNTY


Walker County encompasses 801 sq. miles of rolling hills with piney woods and open prairies. It contains the Northern end of  Lake Livingston and the Northern end of Lake Livingston and 54,153 acres  of the Sam Houston National Forest.  HUNTSVILLE is the county seat with a population of 41, 277 and includes Sam Houston State University with an enrollment of over 20,00 students. Huntsville is located 60 miles north of Houston and 41 miles north of The Woodlands. Huntsville is steeped in history being the home of Sam Houston and Walker County is steeped in natural beauty with a national forest, state park and  national recreational areas.


MONTGOMERY COUNTY


Montgomery County encompasses 1,047 sq. miles of gently rolling terrain mostly covered with Piney Woods vegetation. It contains the majority of the 21,000 acre Lake Conroe and 47,604 acres of the Sam Houston National Forest. CONROE  is the county seat with a population of 84,378. It is located 45 minutes north of downtown Houston. The largest city in Montgomery County is The Woodlands with a population of 110,000.


TRINITY COUNTY


Trinity County is located 90 miles north of Houston. It's county seat is Groveton and it encompasses 692 sq. miles of rolling to hilly terrain. At the southern tip of the county, the Trinity River was dammed to form 83,000 acre Lake Livingston. The population of Trinity County is 14,667.


SAN JACINTO COUNTY


San Jacinto County is located 50 miles north of Houston and encompasses 628 miles of heavily wooded terrain. 60% of the Sam Houston National Forest is in this county. Shepherd is the largest city and the population of the county is 28,270.
